Dr Walter Owino holds a Batchelors degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Nairobi, Kenya, achieved in 1976, a Post Graduate speciality degree in Psychological Medicine from the Institute of Psychiatry, Kings College, University of London, a member and also holds fellowship of the Royal College of Psychiatry and the Royal Society of Medicine within the UK.
Walter has over 40 years of practice as a Consultant Psychiatrist and has held numerous senior Medical posts, both in the National Health Service (NHS) and the independent private sector, as a Medical Director, Responsible Offices, Medical Apprentices and Post Graduate Clinical Trainer.
Dr. Walter Owino joined DUT in 2021. He is among the Medical Hospital, Co-Founders.
