Diaspora University

The University by Diaspora Kenyans is for advancing Kenya Constitution Rights:

  • Kenya Constitution 33. (1) Every person has the right to freedom of expression, which includes— (c) academic freedom and freedom of scientific research.
  • Kenya Constitution 43. (1) Every person has the right— (f) to education. The Career Education received will be applied in the progressive development and sustenance of Kenya.

Model

The University Plan was started by WPI professors and is modeled in accordance with WPI Plan of Project Based Learning (www.wpi.edu).

Endowment

The University is started through an Endowment of resources as set in the Master Development Plan.

The endowment resources include: Systems, Development Plans, Sustenance Plans, Courses, Land, Cash, County Incentives, National Government Incentives and other resources to be received progressively.

Endowment Application

The planned Endowment is budgeted to progressively grow and be applied in:

  • Building of the University and Medical Hospital.
  • Financing of Students.

Project Centers Plan

Diaspora University Plan adopts the Project Based Learning approach in the WPI plan. The plan will gradually achieve Project Centers in all 47 Kenya Counties and Neighboring Countries.

With population growth, climate change, environmental challenges among a host of societal needs; the Diaspora University students will be part of the solutions that preserve and sustain life, culture and the environment.
