School of Engineering

The School of Engineering will be opened by a Dean who will begin work five (5) months before the opening. The work will include establishing the departments, recruiting faculty, and other tasks as outlined in the school departments' founding plans.

Kenya needs engineering work of over Ksh 100 trillion to achieve the rights in Clean and Healthy environment, food, housing, clean water and others.

The School of Engineering will advance these rights through education and partnership with MSMEs.

Departments to be progressively open

  1. Department of Civil, Environmental, & Architectural Engineering
  2. Department of Mechanical & Materials Engineering
  3. Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
  4. Department of Robotics Engineering
  5. Department of Fire Protection Engineering
  6. Department of Biomedical Engineering

All departments that will be part of the first degree programs offered to the first intake of students will open three (3) months before the University starts and will be headed by a Department Head.
