School of Business, Entrepreneurship and Leadership (SOBEL)

The School of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Leadership will be opened by a Dean who will begin work five (5) months before the university's opening. The founding work will include establishing departments, recruiting faculty, and other tasks as outlined in the school departments' founding plans.

SOBEL Departments will partner with the 330 MSMEs setting up in DUT to grow the MSMEs Revenue & Market Share in Kenya & Africa

The Students graduating from the School of Business, Entrepreneurship & Leadership (SOBEL) will have ready jobs and capital through the MSME partnerships established.

Departments to be progressively open

  1. Department of Business Studies
  2. Department of Entrepreneurship
  3. Department of Leadership and Public Policy
  4. Department of Cybersecurity and Data

All departments that will be part of the first degree programs offered to the first intake of students will open three (3) months before the University starts and will be headed by a Department Head.

Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD Degrees to be progressively awarded

  4. Entrepreneurship
  5. Leadership and Public Policy
  6. Cybersecurity
  7. Data Science

Several Certificate programs will also be offered.
